People often ask me, "What's the best way to clean goalkeeping gloves?" So I decided to provide 5 easy steps for keeping goalkeeping gloves dirt and smell free for no money. Yes - you do NOT need to spend money to keep them clean. Step 1: After a game or training session soak dirty gloves in tepid water overnight. Step 2: Under running water use fingers to gently buff dirt off of each palm (continue buffing gently under running water until palms are free of dirt). Step 3: Under running water gently squeeze gloves to rinse out dirt. Step 4. Repeat step 3 until the water running out of each glove is clear. Step 5: Wrap and store gloves in a small towel to keep them from drying out (if gloves dry out the foam becomes brittle and will wear prematurely). Goalkeeping gloves do not have to smell and should be treated like the other training gear we use such as a training top or shorts. I hope you find this information useful and enjoy your clean gloves! Tom Paparounis Director and Founder - Drive Goalkeeping
